Sales Resumes
Resume Writing for Sales Professionals, Managers, Executives
If you’re responsible for generating revenue for your employer, you need an accomplishment-oriented resume that showcases the results you have been able to achieve.
That means that you need to demonstrate a track record of sales achievements without seeming like you’re bragging or exaggerating, and without revealing proprietary information.
And for times when your performance might not have been the best, you need to find a way to put a positive spin on it.
Additionally, you need to carefully tailor the resume for the jobs you’re seeking, starting off with a compelling summary, and incorporating all of the relevant keywords.
The resume, however, is just one piece of the puzzle. If you’re like most of my clients, you also need a solid strategy, LinkedIn know-how, and other career marketing documents.
That’s why I offer a job search and interview training program called TheHireRoad, LinkedIn support, and comprehensive services. I want to arm you with everything you need to succeed!
I have helped clients in sales who want to stay in sales, clients transitioning out of sales, and clients transitioning in to sales.
I love partnering with sales professionals, from outside sales reps up to VPs and SVPs of sales.
I’m very familiar with the typical duties, goals, and challenges of people at all levels of sales, marketing, promotions, business development, and related functions, so I understand how to make you shine so that employers will want to interview you.
Job titles of clients I love to help include:
Sales professionals: Account Executive / Senior Account Executive ■ Outside Sales Representative ■ Inside Sales Representative ■ Sales Consultant ■ Business Development Officer ■ Brand Ambassador ■ Territory Manager
Managers: Director of Sales ■ Director of Sales and Marketing ■ Key Account Manager / Major Account Manager ■ Regional Sales Manager ■ Area Manager ■ District Manager / Director ■ Relationship Manager / Senior Relationship Manager ■ Business Development Manager / Director
