No, it’s not your imagination…

After being sporadic with my blog posts in 2019, you might have noticed I’m now posting more frequently now. With the job market suddenly much more competitive in light of the pandemic recession, I know a lot of people are going to have questions about job search, LinkedIn, resumes, and everything else I write about (and help people with).

As a boutique firm, we naturally don’t have the capacity to provide help to everyone who needs it (eg., tens of millions of unemployed Americans), and not everyone has the budget for professional services right now.

So I’m going to do my best to keep the blog posts coming. There’s nothing I can do about the difficult job market, but maybe the information I share can help folks–even if it just helps one person land a new position a little bit faster.

I’ve been keeping comments disabled because the majority of comments I’d received in the past were essentially spam, and it took time and effort to review those comments (time wasted due to the spam prevalence).

But, I’d love to hear any feedback you have that isn’t spam! Feel free to click on “Let’s Talk” and you can choose the option that says “send a message,” and it’ll go straight to my email. (To avoid being added to spam harvesters’ lists, I don’t list my email address publicly.)

And if you learn something helpful on the blog, I hope you’ll share it on social media. I talk to job seekers every day who have A LOT of misconceptions, so I really want to get accurate information out there to help people avoid common mistakes.
