Before Scheduling - Kelly’s FAQ Answers

  1. What are free consultations for? We’ll be able to get to know each other, discuss your goals, and determine how I could help you. There are no strings attached; it’s just a chance to see if working together would be the right fit for both of us.
  2. Am I the type of client you work with? And do you take every client? Many clients are business executives with target comp from ~$200K to $3M+, while many others are entrepreneurs or consultants who want to improve their LinkedIn presence. I don’t take on every client—only those who are the right fit. I’m happy to recommend other options when appropriate.
  3. How much does it cost? For first-time clients, most engagements are in the $1400-$2800 range, with some outliers below and above that range. I’ll give you a custom quote when we wrap up our free consultation. If you’re a client from the past, learn more about update pricing.
  4. What if my employer is paying for these services? You can learn more about the help you can get and then book a free appointment. I look forward to helping you!
  5. How long will it take? The project timeline is partially determined by your desired timing and availability (although keep in mind that I don’t do quickie two-day turnarounds). Learn more about project timelines.
  6. Do you work with clients in my country? Probably! I’ve worked with clients throughout North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
  7. How does your online appointment scheduling work? Just select the date and time on my calendar that works best for you. I accept ~95% of requested appointments; I’ll only decline if I know I can’t help, in which case I’ll reply with suggestions of other companies.
  8. Can we talk sooner than the earliest date on your calendar? My schedule can be busy, but I might be able to squeeze you in sooner. If you find a date/time on the calendar that would work for you, you can request it, and include a comment in the notes field expressing a desire for an earlier date. Or, send a message with earlier dates/times you would like.
  9. Can we speak in the evening? The latest appointments that display on the calendar are for 5pm Eastern. If you need a later time, please send a message and include what days and times are best for you; I’ll let you know if I can accommodate your request. Once a client is working with me, I do make later evening Zoom appointments available.
  10. Can we talk later than the latest date on your calendar? The calendar only displays available appointments within the next 3 weeks. If you can’t speak until a later date, feel free to send a message with the dates you have in mind, and I can let you know.
  11. Is this private? Yes! I don’t reveal client identities to other clients or anyone else, and our discussions are kept confidential. Your resume will not be shared with recruiters without your permission.
